Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the GETWAB website, account services, subscriptions, communications, and the GETWAB Federal Procurement Intelligence Platform (collectively, the “Services”). It does not apply to third-party websites, government systems, or services that maintain their own privacy policies.
GETWAB processes public federal procurement and related government records to provide research and analytical functionality. Those source records may include business identifiers, entity information, award information, and business contact information published by government sources. This policy primarily describes information associated with visitors, account holders, subscribers, and people who communicate with GETWAB.
Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect your name, email address, account credentials, profile image, company or professional information, support requests, contact-form submissions, and other information you choose to provide.
Subscription and transaction information
When you begin a trial or purchase a subscription, we receive transaction details such as the selected plan, billing status, payment confirmation, and limited payment-method information from our payment providers. GETWAB does not store complete payment card numbers.
Authentication information
If you choose a third-party sign-in option, the authentication provider may provide information necessary to authenticate your account, such as your name, email address, provider identifier, and profile image, according to the permissions you approve.
Usage and technical information
We may automatically collect IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring page, pages and features used, session activity, timestamps, diagnostic events, and security logs. We also record platform usage needed to administer access limits, subscriptions, performance, and account security.
Public-source information
The Services organize records obtained from public government sources. We may preserve source identifiers and record-level fields so users can research, connect, and verify federal procurement information.
Federal Procurement AI and connected-platform information
When you use GETWAB Federal Procurement AI through OpenAI Codex or another connected platform, that platform sends GETWAB the portions of your request and tool parameters needed to perform the requested federal procurement research. Depending on how you access the feature, GETWAB may also receive a request or session identifier, your GETWAB account identifier and access tier, and ordinary technical request information. GETWAB does not require passwords, payment-card details, private API keys, or other sensitive personal information in research requests, and you should not include such information in a prompt or uploaded material.
To operate, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve Federal Procurement AI, GETWAB may record the tool used, the research question and redacted search arguments, identified research categories and datasets, response status, result counts, processing time, a one-way hash of the requesting IP address, user-agent information, and a limited snapshot of returned public-record results. Fields identified as credentials or direct contact information are designed to be redacted from structured arguments. GETWAB generally receives the request submitted to a GETWAB tool, not unrelated portions of your conversation unless the connected platform includes them in that request.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
- create and administer accounts, trials, subscriptions, and payments;
- authenticate users and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- deliver requested features, research tools, support, and service communications;
- understand performance and how the Services are used;
- develop new functionality and improve the accuracy and usability of the platform;
- comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, and protect the rights and safety of GETWAB, our users, and others.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product development, and business operations where the information can no longer reasonably identify an individual.
Federal Procurement AI and connected platforms
GETWAB processes the information described above to answer research requests, enforce access and usage limits, associate authenticated use with an account, provide record-level evidence, investigate errors or abuse, and improve the coverage, accuracy, and usability of the Services. The requested results and supporting public-record information are returned to the connected platform so it can present them to you.
OpenAI and any other platform through which you choose to access Federal Procurement AI independently process information under their own terms and privacy policies. GETWAB does not control how a connected platform stores your conversation, account information, or the response after GETWAB returns it. You should review the connected platform’s privacy settings and policies before using the integration.
Research logs are retained in accordance with the retention principles described below. You may contact GETWAB to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, subject to identity verification and legal, security, fraud-prevention, and record-retention exceptions.
How information is disclosed
GETWAB does not sell personal information. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors that support hosting, infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, security, customer support, or similar operations may process information on our behalf.

- Business transactions. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With your direction. We may disclose information when you request, authorize, or intentionally use a feature that requires the disclosure.
Public government records displayed by the platform remain subject to the terms, availability, and correction processes of their originating sources.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the platform. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and why it was collected.
We use administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
