Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the GETWAB website, account services, subscriptions, communications, and the GETWAB Federal Procurement Intelligence Platform (collectively, the “Services”). It does not apply to third-party websites, government systems, or services that maintain their own privacy policies.

GETWAB processes public federal procurement and related government records to provide research and analytical functionality. Those source records may include business identifiers, entity information, award information, and business contact information published by government sources. This policy primarily describes information associated with visitors, account holders, subscribers, and people who communicate with GETWAB.

Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect your name, email address, account credentials, profile image, company or professional information, support requests, contact-form submissions, and other information you choose to provide.

Subscription and transaction information

When you begin a trial or purchase a subscription, we receive transaction details such as the selected plan, billing status, payment confirmation, and limited payment-method information from our payment providers. GETWAB does not store complete payment card numbers.

Authentication information

If you choose a third-party sign-in option, the authentication provider may provide information necessary to authenticate your account, such as your name, email address, provider identifier, and profile image, according to the permissions you approve.

Usage and technical information

We may automatically collect IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring page, pages and features used, session activity, timestamps, diagnostic events, and security logs. We also record platform usage needed to administer access limits, subscriptions, performance, and account security.

Public-source information

The Services organize records obtained from public government sources. We may preserve source identifiers and record-level fields so users can research, connect, and verify federal procurement information.

03

How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
  • create and administer accounts, trials, subscriptions, and payments;
  • authenticate users and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
  • deliver requested features, research tools, support, and service communications;
  • understand performance and how the Services are used;
  • develop new functionality and improve the accuracy and usability of the platform;
  • comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, and protect the rights and safety of GETWAB, our users, and others.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product development, and business operations where the information can no longer reasonably identify an individual.

04

How information is disclosed

GETWAB does not sell personal information. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors that support hosting, infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, security, customer support, or similar operations may process information on our behalf.
  • Legal and safety requirements. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful requests, investigate misuse, enforce agreements, or protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transactions. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
  • With your direction. We may disclose information when you request, authorize, or intentionally use a feature that requires the disclosure.

Public government records displayed by the platform remain subject to the terms, availability, and correction processes of their originating sources.

05

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, security, account preferences, theme and navigation settings, session continuity, analytics, and essential platform operation. Some cookies are required for the Services to function.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking required cookies or storage may prevent login, saved preferences, checkout, or other platform features from working correctly.

06

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the platform. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and why it was collected.

We use administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07
